
About the Pattern
The Warm Hearts Warm Hands pattern is designed with a provisional cast-on for each side of the double knit. These cast-on edges are then combined and double knitting begins.Working from the charted instructions you create a heart shape on both the inside and outside of the muff. Once you are finished double knitting, each side of the double knitting will be grafted together individually using Kitchener stitch to create A reversible fabric tube.

- Background color uses 89 yards or 81 meters

- Total yarn: 178 yards or 162 meters

US size 10 (6.0 mm) straight or circular knitting needles (long enough to accommodate size of muff), or size needed to obtain gauge

- Additional pair of (6.0 mm) knitting needles (or 1-2 sizes smaller), used for cast-on, and grafting together

Gauge
14 st x 18 rows = 4x4 inch or 10x10 cm square in stockinette stitch of double knitting blocked. Count only the visible stitches.
